MARLOV BARRIOS

Guatemala

Marlov Barrios was born in Guatemala City in 1980. He studied architecture at the University of San Carlos of Guatemala and recorded in the School of drawing, painting and printmaking La Esmeralda, Mexico DF He is founder of The Torana with whom he participated in the first Triennial of the Caribbean, Dominican Republic in 2010 and the Bienal de Pontevedra Spain in 2010. Also, he co-founded the Experimental Graphic Workshop Guatemala in 2008 and Roulette with the artist Lucrecia Muñoz, space for contemporary art in Guatemala city in 2012. Her work is in private collections in Guatemala, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Mexico, Nicaragua, Dominican Republic, Spain and Taiwan.
